   Situated within a quite neighborhood of Strovolos this 40+ year old residence is undergoing a long due interior and exterior renovation.

 

   The existing vintage brutal architectural features and elements, of which the structural exposure led to significant wear and tear over the years, were part of the architectural design inspiration:

 

   The intention in exposing the columns and beams and knocking down most non supporting walls in the living areas, was to create vast open plan intersecting spaces on various levels, while keeping the existing platforms to create overlooking spaces and perspectives to and from the garden.

 

   Matched up with the integration of earthy colors, textures and materials to be applied to the existing vintage aesthetics, the residence is to be upgraded to catch up technologically with today’s electrical, mechanical and smart home specifications, using a modern but minimal architectural palette.

 

   All openings offer landscaped garden views and/or external summer pool and/or winter fire pit seating areas, creating alternative options according to the owner’s mood and seasonal climatic conditions.
